Meet Our Staff

Kristy Mach

Kristy Mach is the Executive Director of TOCA.  She has a degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  Kristy is the point person for the Communications Contest, email communications, web updates and much more. She joined the TOCA staff in 2014, and manages member communications, social media and the website, and also runs the TOCA Foundation.

Den Gardner

Den Gardner is the Senior Counselor of TOCA. Gardner has been in the communications business for 39 years, including marketing, publishing and association experience. A 1973 graduate of Minnesota State University-Mankato in Mankato, MN, with a degree in journalism and broadcasting, Gardner has been active in the green industry since the early 1980s, working in marketing communications for industry and association clients.

Gardner owns a marketing consulting business, based in New Prague, MN, focusing on green industry and agricultural communications, as well as sports marketing.

Kyle Wieskus

Kyle Wieskus is the Membership Director of TOCA. She has degrees in Biology and History from Iowa State University.  She joined the TOCA staff in 2015 and will manage new memberships and renewals. In addition to her work with TOCA, she also is the Membership Director with several other association clients within Corner Window Communications

JoDee Sattler

JoDee Sattler is the Editor of TOCA Talk, TOCA’s quarterly newsletter. She earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While JoDee’s expertise lies in the dairy industry, she advocates for sustainable agricultural practices – whether it’s turf management, animal care or crop production. She joined the TOCA staff in 2018 and welcomes receiving TOCA-related news and enjoys learning about the award-winning TOCA Communications Contest entries.

Sandra O’Rourke

Sandra O’Rourke manages the financials for TOCA. She earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communications and marketing from St. Cloud State University. In addition to managing the financials, she coordinates the TOCA communications contest and works with the scholarship and internship programs.
