Den Gardner is executive director of TOCA. Gardner has been in the communications business for 39 years, including marketing, publishing and association experience. A 1973 graduate of Minnesota State University Mankato in Mankato, MN, with a degree in journalism and broadcasting, Gardner has been active in the green industry since the early 1980s, working in marketing communications for industry and association clients.
Gardner owns a marketing consulting business, based in New Prague, MN, focusing on green industry and agricultural communications, as well as sports marketing.
Kristy Mach is the associate director of TOCA. She has a degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Not only does Kristy handle membership for TOCA, she is also the point person for the Communications Contest, email communications, web updates and much more. She joined the TOCA staff in 2014, and manages member communications, social media and the website, and also runs the TOCA Foundation.
Kyle Wieskus is the Membership Director of TOCA. She has degrees in Biology and History from Iowa State University. She joined the TOCA staff in 2015 and will manage new memberships and renewals. In addition to her work with TOCA, she also is the Membership Director with several other association clients within Gardner & Gardner Communications.
Barb Ulschmid is the assistant director of TOCA. A graduate of the College of St Benedict, she joined the TOCA staff in June of 2007. She is the event planner for the annual meeting and all other TOCA events, as well as go to person for accounts payable/receivable. In addition to her work with TOCA, she also works with several other association clients within Gardner & Gardner Communications.
